Varanasi is the main city of eastern Uttar Pradesh, ringed by districts such as Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Mirzapur and Chandauli. For surrogacy, though, the local choice is small: very few registered surrogacy clinics have a Varanasi address.

Day train, overnight train or flight
Each option suits a different kind of trip. Compare them before your first visit, then choose trip by trip.

The train is fine for the intending parents throughout. After egg collection, though, give the wife the remainder of the day to recover, and travel back the following day.
Booking around festival crowds
Varanasi draws large numbers of pilgrims and visitors during major festivals and holiday seasons. Trains and flights out of the city can fill up quickly at those times.
Ask the doctor for likely treatment dates as early as possible. If egg collection may fall in a busy week, book a refundable ticket in advance rather than waiting. A review can move by a few days; a procedure day usually cannot.
Coming from a district outside Varanasi
If you live in Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Mirzapur or another nearby district, your trip has one more leg. Count that road journey in your budget and your timings. Mention your district when you first contact us, so the visit plan allows for it.
Tests do not need a trip to Delhi, and often not even to Varanasi. Any reliable lab can share reports on WhatsApp for Dr. Sunita Singh Rathore to review. Certificates go through the District Medical Board of the state where you live or work. For most couples here, that is Uttar Pradesh, but your advocate confirms the right board.

The package covers the core treatment. A handful of lines depend on how the pregnancy and treatment go, and it is wise to know them before you travel.

For a family travelling from eastern UP, a reserve for these lines matters more than for a local couple. Extra treatment can also mean an extra trip.

What the law lets you pay a surrogate
The answer is short: her costs, not a fee. The 2021 Act limits what intending parents pay to her medical bills, prescribed expenses such as lost wages, and 36 months of insurance.
Who can be the surrogate is also fixed: an ever-married woman of 25 to 35, willing, and already a mother. She can do this once in her lifetime, may not donate her own eggs, and need not be related to you. More on our surrogacy law page.
How low cost surrogacy fits the rules
IVF surrogacy has fixed legal costs, so the room to save is in the medical extras and the travel. A case that needs one IVF cycle and one transfer costs far less than one needing several.
Ask for the estimate in writing, with package, extras and legal-process lines kept apart. That shows at once which part a lower quote elsewhere has left out.
